Insulate Britain has resumed its road block protests after its campaign was suspended. The protesters have frustrated drivers for weeks by blocking busy roads, especially around London.
The climate action group absolutely infuriated motorists by sitting on the M25 and other major roads, despite the risk that its members would be jailed or fined immediately upon arrest.
It had suspended its so-called “campaign of civil resistance”, but that suspension was due to end on October 25 and in some areas has already seen more protesters blocking small roads.
Social media users have been calling the protesters “idiots” who are endangering other motorists who are trying to get to hospital or getting killed in pile ups.
