Police confirmed they arrested a 48-yr-old man last night in connection to a “major incident” in Finsbury Park.
The man allegedly drove his van into a group of muslims who were outside a mosque chatting longer than usual because it was ramadam.
The smashed his van into the group, seriously injuring 10 people and killing 1 man. The group then turned on him, grabbing him from the van and punching him in the head.
Witnesses claim the man shouted back at them “COME ON!” taunting the crowd to get stuck in with him.
Social media users are calling the incident a “revenge attack” for the London bridge Islamic terrorist attack which took place two weeks ago.
