Thousands of people turned out in Navan, Co Meath today to protest the closure of Navan Hospital’s A&E Department.
It’s understood that the department will be closed with people urged to go to their GP and be refered to Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, County Louth.
Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, County Louth is already at capacity level with some saying that waiting times there will be dramatically increased should Navan residents need to use their neighbouring hospital too.
