An estimated 2,500 properties remain in the dark this morning, after the stormy weather overnight knocked out their power supply.
There have been faults reported nationwide, the largest one in Carrickmines, where 1,400 households are currently without power.
Outages have also been reported around Cork, Donegal, Offaly, Kildare, Clare and Meath.
ESB crews are on the ground working to restore power to all affected customers.
