Up to 13,000 people may have been left stranded abroad, after French airline Aigle Azur declared bankruptcy last week.
The airline, which had been operating since 1946, canceled all flights on Friday evening, leaving thousands of people with nowhere to go.
The bankruptcy is also likely to put over 1,000 people out of work, unless a takeover is finalized.
