It is understood that three nurses at the infamous care home have been removed from duty with pay by the HSE.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the health service said that such action has been taken as a protective measure for both the residents and the staff members concerned, pending the results of the investigation into alleged abuse at the home.
Also, one care assistant has been placed under increased supervision while on duty.
