Police in Belfast have launched an investigation after a 17-year-old teenager was left in critical condition following an attack.
It is understood the male youth was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the assault which occurred on the Donegall Road, at 4:15pm yesterday afternoon.
Police investigating the incident say two males were arrested at the scene of the attack a short time later.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
