Gardai in Co Westmeath have arrested three men following the recovery of €250,000 worth of jewellery that was stolen last week.
It is understood the three men all aged 27, 27 and 31 respectively, were arrested by Garda officers following a search at a house in Ballaghmore, Co Laois on Friday.

Gardai say all three men have been taken to Athlone, Portlaoise and Tullamore garda stations.
The arrests come after a group of thieves broke into a jewellers in Athlone shopping centre last Saturday morning.
