Three people have been arrested in connection with a serious burglary in Monkstown, reports Breaking News.
The arrests are part of an investigation into an aggravated burglary and false imprisonment incident that occurred Aug. 21 at a residence in Monkstown.
A 70-year-old man was injured in this incident.
There, the men, aged 20 and 40, were arrested on Thursday morning and are currently being held at a south Dublin garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, reports Breaking News.
The search was carried out by the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR) East Detective Unit, assisted by uniformed officers, the Emergency Response Unit and the Armed Support Unit.
