Three people are confirmed dead in some of the worst bushfires in Australia in decades.
Fires are raging across New South Wales, as 1,000 firefighters desperately try to contain the flames from spreading further. At least 100 homes have so far been destroyed.
Dry and windy weather conditions in the region are so far working against the firefighting efforts, with no fewer than 39 fires still burning out of control.
