Three people were injured, one of them seriously, after a car mounted the pavement in an Irish town.
The incident happened on the Link Road in Mullingar on Wednesday afternoon. A man, a woman, and a young child were injured, with the man suffering the worst injuries. The car did not remain at the scene.`
It is understood that a male presented himself to Gardai later in the day in connection with this incident.
