Three rain and thunderstorm warnings covering seven counties are in place as miserable conditions hit parts of the country.
The warnings cover counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Kerry, Tipperary, and Waterford.
According to the national forecaster, many areas around these counties will experience heavy rainfall and localized thunderstorms.
