Ticket office worker dies after being spat at by a man who claimed that he had covid-19




A public transport worker has sadly passed away after she was reportedly spat at by a man who claimed that he had covid-19.

According to BBC News, the woman Belly Mujinga, 47, a ticket office worker sadly passed away on April 5th after being admitted to Barnet Hospital on April 2nd.

BBC News reports that Mujinga was targeted by the man whilst she was working at Victoria Street Station on March 22nd.

It is alleged that the man asked Mujinga what was she doing there, with Mujinga replying saying that she was working.

It is believed that the man then responded by saying he had covid-19 and then proceeded to spit at her.

The shocking and sickening incident which is currently being by British Transport Police saw Mujinga and another women contract the virus.

However it is believed that Mujinga had an underlying condition believed to be respiratory .

Speaking to BBC News her husband Lusamba Gode Katalay said that his wife had told him what had happened.

He also said that his wife was a caring and loving person that would help or take care of anybody.
