It has been confirmed that the disgraced ex-OCI boss Pat Hickey will not appear in court today, as was scheduled.
However, Mr. Hickey’s solicitor Arthur Lavigne has confirmed that this will now not happen, and has released a statement saying “The judiciary recess ended today, and the prosecutor has not yet present his case before the judge, so it will not be possible for the judge to whom the case will be assigned to already be aware of the matter.”
It is unclear how long will Mr. Hickey have to remain in jail, as he faces a string of serious allegations about his involvement in the ticket touting scandal.
