It has been confirmed that THG boss Kevin Mallon has been released from prison.
Mr. Mallon, one of the main people involved in the ticket touting scandal that recently marred the reputation of the Olympic Committee of Ireland, was due to be released yesterday. The lack of electronic ankle tags delayed his exit from prison, but he is a free man today.
It is understood that strict bail conditions have been imposed.
Meanwhile, ex-OCI boss Pat Hickey remains behind bars.
