Tinder users can now invite friends to browse and suggest potential matches on the dating app as part of a new “matchmaking” feature, reports Breaking News.

The new tool, called Matchmaker, allows a user to give up to 15 friends within 24 hours access to their potential matches, who can browse profiles and suggest potential matches without a Tinder account, but cannot message others on the user’s behalf.

After the matchmaking session, Tinder users will have the opportunity to view their matchmaker’s recommendation profiles and then make a final decision on the matter.

The new feature will be rolled out to the UK and many other countries in the coming months, reports Breaking News.

According to the dating app, this feature builds on a common way of using the platform, where Tinder users hand over their phone to a friend for matchmaking and take it directly to the platform.

“For years, singles have asked their friends to help find their next match on Tinder, and now we’re making that so easy with Tinder Matchmaker. Tinder Matchmaker brings your circle of trust into your dating journey and helps you see the possibilities you might be overlooking from the perspective of those closest to you,” Melissa Hobley, Tinder’s chief marketing officer said, reports Breaking News.
