Professor John Crown said on last night’s Tonight Show that it’s very worrying and very troubling to see number of coronavirus cases spiral over the past number of day.
Professor Crown said “it doesn’t take long for 15,000 cases to jump to 90,000 cases, approximately the number of people who have covid-19 in China”.
He went on to say that the taoiseach is correctly pointing out that the telemetry and exponential growth can go very fast quite steeply.
Professor Crown said that “clearly we are facing into a very large increase in cases and the measures put in place to date will hopefully bend the curve”
