GardaĂ have launched an investigation after a tourist couple were robbed in Dublin city centre.
It is understood the investigation comes after the couple were held at gunpoint by two thugs at Longs Place, Dublin 8, near the Guinness Storehouse, on Monday.
Footage of the shocking image which has since been shared by RTÉ’s Liveline programme, shows the couple being approached by the thugs with one of them then pointing a gun in the woman’s face.
It is believed that a phone was stolen from one of the tourists who were left badly shaken following the incident.
GardaĂ have since confirmed that they have been made aware of the incident and as of yet no arrests have been made.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
