In a tragic accident a young child in the UK has died in a gas explosion that wrecked a house on a street in the suburbs.
According to the Mirror, 4-year-old Sahara Salman died in Thornton Heath, South London. She was originally reported missing after the blast but was then confirmed dead by the London Ambulance Service.
The little girl has been described as “beautiful” and “cute” by those who knew her. It is reported that neighbours in the street had contacted the gas company over fears that there could be a leak. The explosion caused a terraced house to crumble to rubble and considerable damage was caused to a number of neighbouring properties.
6 fire engines and approximately 40 firefighters came to the fire to try and get things under control. Heart-breaking photographs show flowers and teddies left on the street in tribute to the little girl who lost her life.
