The trafic spike in road deaths continues today, after a woman in her 60s was killed in a road crash in Kildimo, Co. Limerick, earlier today.
The woman was the sole occupant of a vehicle that collided with a van at around 5pm this afternoon. She was pulled alive from the wreckage but died later in hospital.
The driver of the van was taken to hospital with slight injuries.
