A 19 year man is in critical condition in hospital this morning after falling through the roof of a vacant premises in Dublin city yesterday afternoon.
It is believed the tragic incident happened at Basin Lane in Dublin 8, at approximately 4.30pm. A spokesperson for the Gardaí has said the young man had been seriously injured after falling more than 20 feet through the roof. It is thought he sustained very severe head injuries after the fall.
The man was was quickly rushed by ambulance to St James’ Hospital where he has been placed under intensive care.
