Patients are impatient after numbers went through the roof in hospitals around the country yesterday. Over 500 patients of all ages were left on trolleys and chairs around A&E areas.
Priority patients were seen as best as possible while regular patients were left waiting up to 11 hours before they were fully seen and treated.
63-yr-old Rita Branigan from Dublin 12 told The Liberal that she was given a chair to sit on in a Dublin hospital and was waiting 8 hours before she received X-Ray results.
Another male patient said:
“It’s absolutely disgraceful. Fine Gael have a sin to answer for and Varadkar should resign, it’s worse than ever!”
