A man aged in his 80s has been killed in a house fire in Dundalk, Co Louth today. Emergency services were called to a major house fire at a bungalow in Donaghmore shortly before 7am this morning.
The deceased man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene of the fire while another man was brought to hospital where his condition is being described as serious but stable.
Emergency personnel are still at the scene of the fire.
