A woman aged in her 30s has sadly drowned following a kayaking accident in Co. Kerry.
The woman was part of a group of six people from Cork who were karaking on the River Roughty near Kilgarvan.
It’s understood she tragically got into trouble around midday and her friends raised the alarm. Searchers found the woman’s body shortly before 3pm.
