Gardaí have tragically confirmed that an 11-year-old boy has died in hospital following a road traffic incident on Friday.
The boy who was seriously injured after being struck by a van on the Slavery Road, Tullarvan near Buncrana at around 5.30pm on Friday evening.
In a statement released this evening Gardaí confirmed that the boy sadly passed away in Belfast’s Royal Victoria Hospital this evening.
