There was some sad news announced late last night as Gardaí in Dublin confirmed that an elderly woman has died following a house fore in Lusk.
Gardaí say the woman aged in her 80s died at the scene and was discovered after emergency services alerted to the incident at house in Walshestown at approximately 6pm Thursday evening.
It is understood four units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene.
Gardaí say the woman’s body was layer removed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place.
