There was some tragic news announced over the weekend as authorities confirmed that an experienced Irish mountain rescue volunteer has died during a training exercise.
According to reports the man named Kevin Hallahan sadly lost his life during the training mission after he suffered a great fall in Wales on Saturday.
Mr Hallahan, who was a volunteer with the Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team (DWMRT), apparently fell whilst taking part in a team exercise on the Crib Goch route in Snowdonia, north Wales.
