A woman has died after being pulled from the sea at Dun Laoghaire Pier today.
The Dublin Coast Guard took part in the operation, which occurred at around 2:30pm on Monday afternoon.
It is understood that the woman in a wheelchair entered the water at the east pier and was recovered along with the wheelchair by the underwater surveillance unit.
Gardaí have confirmed that the woman, in her 50s, was pronounced dead late last night.
