There was some sad news announced late last night as Gardaí in Dublin confirmed that a woman has tragically died after she was struck by a lorry whilst riding her bicycle.
The tragic incident occurred at 2:30pm on Monday afternoon at the junction of Templeville Road and Whitehall Road in Dublin 6W.
Gardaí say the woman aged in her 30s suffered a number of serious injuries and was quickly rushed to Tallaght Hospital where she was later pronounced dead a short time later.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
