Authorities in Australia, have sadly confirmed that an Irishman has died following a road traffic incident.
It is understood the man aged in his 30s from Kilkenny was killed after the vehicle he was travelling in collided with a truck on the Pacific Highway, south of Nabiac, near Forster, in New South Wales.
New South Wales Police say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene, whilst another man was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
Police say they are currently investigating the incident and are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
