
A teenager who suffered serious brain injuries following a fall at a hotel in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca on Tuesday has sadly passed away in hospital.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, the 19 year old teenager Jack Walsh from Askeaton, Co Limerick, had his life support machine switched off on Thursday.
The Sun say the teenager’s life support was switched off by his parents as his family held a vigil by his bedside.
Mr Walsh who was visiting the resort following a repeat of his Leaving Cert exam, tragically suffered fatal injuries after he fell 39 ft from at approximately 4:25am on Tuesday morning.
