Gardaí in Co Mayo have sadly confirmed that a 25-year-old man has sadly died.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the man was tragically found deceased outside on the Quay Road, Newport, Co Mayo at approximately 1:30am on Christmas morning.
It is not yet known how the man died, but Gardai say they are currently awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.
