Gardai in Dublin have sadly confirmed that a man who was injured a house fire last Friday has sadly passed away in hospital.
The man who was aged in his 40s sadly passed away on Wednesday due to the extent of his injuries he sustained in the fire which broke out in Miltown last Friday.
Gardai say another man also aged in his 40s was given treatment following the fire.
It is understood that Gardai are not treating the fire as suspicious.
