Gardaí in Co Laois have confirmed that a man aged in his 40s has died following a workplace accident.
It is understood the man was killed whilst working on a construction project in Ballickmoyler, on Tuesday.
Gardaí say the Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident and an investigation is currently ongoing.
