Gardaí in Co Donegal have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 50s has died following a motorcycle crash this evening.
It is understood the man died due to the extent of his injuries after he collided with a car on the main Burnfoot to Buncrana Road, Castleforward, at approximately 5:30pm.
Gardaí say the man was taken to Altnagelvin Area Hospital in Derry but he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
They also say the driver of the other vehicle was uninjured in the collision.
