Gardaí in Co Kerry have sadly confirmed that a man aged in 60s has died following a house fire this afternoon.
It is understood the man who lived alone sadly passed away following the fire which occurred at Glencuttane Lower, Kilgobnet, Beaufort.
Gardaí say the man’s body has since been taken to University Hospital Kerry where a post-mortem examination will take place.
They added that an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
