Gardai in Co Mayo have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 60s has died following a single vehicle collision this morning.
It is understood that the man was killed following the collision on the Creggs Road, The Quay in Ballina at approximately 10:30am.
Gardai say no other vehicle were involved in the incident.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
