Gardaí in Co Limerick have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 70s has died following a tragic accident in Ballyneety.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, it is understood the man was killed after he was struck by a van outside his home on Tuesday evening.
Gardaí say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that the incident is being treated as a personal tragedy.
