A British man has sadly died after being struck by lightning in Florida.
According to Sky News, the man Garry Perkins, 32, was tragically killed after he was struck by lightning on Clearwater Beach, near Tampa, Florida, last Sunday.
Perkins who was on a football scholarship, sadly passed away in hospital on Wednesday after he went into cardiac arrest following the incident.
It is reported that seven other people were injured in the incident.
