Gardai in Co Cork have sadly confirmed that a man has died following a collision at a football club this afternoon.
It is understood that the man aged in his 70s was killed following a collision with a van at College Corinthians football club in Douglas, at approximately 3:30pm.
Gardai say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
