Gardai in Co Carlow have sadly confirmed that a man has died following a collision in Co Carlow this afternoon.
It is understood the man died after the motorcycle he was travelling on collided with a car in the Mullawn area of Tullow, at approximately 3:15pm.
Gardai say the injured man was taken to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital following the collision but he later died due to the extent of his injuries.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
