Gardai in Co Cork have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 60s has died following a collision in Youghal.
It is understood that the man a cyclist was killed following a collision with a car at Lower Corkhill, at approximately 7pm on Saturday evening.
Gardai say the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and his body has since been transferred to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place.
They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
