Gardai in Co Meath have sadly confirmed that a man aged in his 50s has died following a road traffic collision this afternoon.
It is understood that the man a truck driver was killed following a collision in the R155 near Rathoath shortly after midday.
Gardai say the man was taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown but was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
They added that an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
