Gardaí in Co Laois have confirmed that a man aged in his 60s has died following a workplace accident this morning.
It is understood the man was killed whilst carrying out duties at Mountrath Golf Club in Co Laois, at approximately 10am this morning.
Gardaí say they are currently investigating and the Health and Safety Authority have been notified about the incident.
