A man has been arrested in connection to the death of Irish woman Elaine O’Donovan who was on holiday in Lanzarote.
The Waterford woman had been living in London for the past number of years and was on holiday in the popular holiday resort when she sadly drowned following a late night swim after a night out.
A 29-yr-old man is said to have been arrested today in connection with her death on suspicion of failing to assist the woman as she was drowning.
Spanish police have confirmed this inquiry is ongoing.
