Eight children have been seriously injured, two of them critically, after a massive 75ft high tree fell on them at a summer camp in Southern California.
The kids, aged six to eight, were just getting ready to leave the Kidspace Children’s Museum camp in Pasadena for the day when the accident happened.
It is not immediately clear what caused the tree to suddenly uproot and topple over the camp.
In total, 33 children were attending the camp. All others have been accounted for.
It is understood that an independent arborist will be brought in to investigate what might have caused the accident.
