Police in New York are currently investigating a tragic incident were a newborn baby girl has died after falling from the window of a New York City apartment building.
Police say the baby was found with its umbilical cord still attached after the horrific fall, they also say they are currently questioning the girl’s mother about the incident. It is understood police services responded to an emergency services call at around midday yesterday afternoon local time and discovered the infant had tragically fallen out of a window at the seven-floor building in the Bronx. The baby was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
Police also say the baby showed severe signs of trauma. However no arrests have yet been made although an investigation is currently ongoing.
