Police in the UK have sadly confirmed that a newborn baby has died following a dog attack.
According to Sky News, the 12 day old baby died at Doncaster Royal Infirmary after being bitten by the dog on Sunday.
The incident which occurred in Doncaster, has led to the arrest of two people a man aged in his 30s and a woman aged in her 20s.
Police say the dog has since been removed from the house and an investigation is currently ongoing.
