A male motorcyclist has died after his motorbike was in collision with a car and a van at York Road in Dún Laoghaire shortly before midday.
The man was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital where he was pronounced dead and post-mortem is due to take place.
The road has been sealed off for forensic collision investigations and diversions are in place.
A second man died on the roads in Kilkenny today when a car crashed into a lorry.
The collision happened at Garryduff Crossroad in Paulstown at around 7.30am and the 50-yr-old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
