Terrible news emerging from northern Ireland this morning.
Claire Lowe, a woman in her 30s from Ballygowan Co Down, was thrown from her horse during a county hunt yesterday afternoon.
An ambulance was called to the scene at approximately 3:30pm yesterday where Claire was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
It’s the understood this morning that she sadly died from her injuries.
Locals say she was very popular in the equestrian world, and was a member of the House Equestrian Centre in Saintfield near Belfast.
